Well, hallloooo there..And welcome ^_^
Would you like some milk or sugar with that tea, or will the CHEESEcake be enough? :^)
Firstly, Spirit of Heart is no more. (say what?) SPIRIT OF HEART IS NO MORE!
R I P (what happened to it??)
This is because the man named Tom Li has admin rights on it, which means I don't have full access to the blog. Since I technically don't own the right to that blog any more, I just ditched it.
R I P
Anyway, to coincide with the beautiful 13th birthday I reckon I'll update this one frequently
(that's what you said last time, and the time before)
well tru but this time for realz
(so, what's the same [or what's different?])
Good question! nothing is the same, but nothing is really different either. Same writing about love conundrums, stories or generally t0pk3k stuff
I try to keep it relevant and as short as possible
I post when I want to so deal with it :)
Hope you
cunts fellows read it :))
Maybe keep your eye here, because in the future there might be another blogger coming... ;) ;) ;)
Anyway, with the ex-post (This was supposed to be a post in the making, but it was kinda neglected...kinda...)
THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE NEXT POST ON THE SPIRIT OF HEART, BUT I DIDN'T POST IT! Here it is, verbatim, as food for thought for me ;) {WHO IS TEA?}
Well as requested here's some cheesy romance shit, this is part one :)
(As I'm writing this I think that it sounds more and more like WongFu's Strangers, Again, but this is the Spirit of Heart edition so no plagiarism involved :)
#1. The Search.
Before writing this, I sought professional advice and assistance, but I don't guarantee the truthfulness of every statement made below (at least for the girls.)
For those of you that know me well, I'm into some dubstep, and a good song is Subfocus - Out of the Blue. I quote the very first line of the song as the beginning and basis of today's post:
"Loooooooove is a potion, mixed up by careless foooools, and it takes twoooo....and it takes twooooo..."
In any relationship, the chase is the most exhilarating journey a person will ever make. For a guy. it all begins when they spy some hot chick at school, at tutoring, at the club, at uni, wherever they are. Some would quit because they've only had a glimpse of them and they know that they'll never see her again, but others would take the half chance anyway. This half chance sparks the chase.
The chase is a long and winding road filled with booby traps and baits. Imagine yourself in the middle of a desert; you're thirsty as fuck (dual meaning intended) when you suddenly see an oasis far off in the horizon. You know that it's most likely a mirage or a trick that your eyes are playing on your mind, but since you're so desperate anyway, you gamble on the existence of the oasis.
For some of those who are weak hearted or weak willed, they'd say "fuck it, it's too far, I'll just dig and hope I'll find some groundwater." Others, more stubborn or more determined, will go at lengths to reach that oasis. They'd brave sandstorms, quicksand, the freezing conditions at night and the searing heat during midday just to reach that goal - the hope that the oasis actually exists.
That's the best way to describe the chase: the hard path towards a dream. We go to lengths to reach the hope of one day having our desires recognised and returned.
That's not to say the chase is a shitty path though. Throughout the desert journey, you would have ventured an exciting path. You would have seen some exhilarating things, life changing things. There would have been days where the oasis seems *that* much closer. You can even make out the trees that surround the cold refreshing water. You imagine what you'd do when you reach the oasis.
And then, there's the one day where you indeed come to the oasis. You meet that special person. It's your chance. And that's where the desert journey ends, when you're no longer chasing a dream, but a reality.
Is there really an oasis at the end of the road?
TBC...
